Hello Everyone,
Welcome to my Photo Journal. This will be a special place where i will showcase some of my favorite images, which i’ve been lucky enough to help bring into fruition, while working alongside some of the most creative and hardworking individuals on this side of the map. Here, I will display the visual narrative of us developing our respected crafts, in my particular case, it’ll be told through my lens.
Lets dive into this set. So the team (Jairo Melara and Emily Maguire) and I got together to put on a test shoot with Los Angeles based Model Sage Karacas. represented by Two Management. The idea was to utilize this beautiful Muslin Backdrop we had lying around for ages in the studio. When I look at this backdrop it gives me this rubenesque like feeling. As if when your subject walks in front of this backdrop we’ve teleport back in time. It’s truly a wonderful addition to any type of photoshoot!
When lighting this set we decided to take a different direction than our usual lighting set ups. We wanted to use as much ambient light available as our key light on Sage, and have a warm side light coming in to add this heavenly element to the portrait.
